This weekend my family and I will be down in the Redwing area and I was wondering if their are any trails worth checking out aside from memorial and Holzinger?
btw how technical/challenging are memorial and holzinger compared to spirit and mont du lac(sp?)

Both are rather technical, holzinger moreso than memorial but both are predominantly singletrack, 'zinger has long trecherous climb two loops on top of the bluff and a rocky nasty descent.
Memorial has more variety in terms of elevation, you go up and down along side the bluff, not nearly as long of a climb but more flow to the climbs. The north side is relatively smooth, then you come to the DH course and then the southern side is slightly more rocky, but still not nearly as rocky as Zinger. Saturday is the DH race so come on out

I haven't ridden Mont du Lac or Spirit, but from what I hear as a whole neither 'zinger or Memorial are as techinical. There are definately technical spots on each, but I am not a great technical rider, and aside from a few spots up on the bluff I can ride everything on Memorial (not that that is a bad thing).
With Steeplechase closed for the year (hopefully not longer) and Welch not open for riding ever, those two trails are probably the best bets for you. River Falls has some new singletrack that is getting pretty good, but I haven't ridden there in a while so not sure what to say on those. What was in there though wasn't super tech. Just nice singletrack.
