Just a forewarning to the squeamish. I smashed my face. The offending tree is in the background. I honestly didn't even see it. Dunno.:hit:

Ojibwa Trail = 2
martini = 0 Dammit.

And now begins the daily martini face watch!

Ok maybe not daily, but updates no less.

Other than the first 10 minutes of the first ride, the weekend was great. I rode the new Hatchery Creek to Mosquito Brook loop, and the new Rock Lake. Both were fantastic, tight swoopy dippy midwest singletrack. Great work on them!

On with the pics:
The group. Pat, Dan, Stan, and peeing in the background, Sly:

Pat and the colors. The colors up there were great. Made reading the trail a bit hard....and slick. But really really fun.

And the best series I took. This was in the rain, with me standing on a moss covered rock, in my Sidi's[read; slippery], about 5' above the trail. I love these shots. Rider: Sly:

And last shot of the trip: Stan in the pouring rain, in the last 3k of Rock Lake.

Yah, twas a good time. I'm all for making this an annual thing. Maybe not the same place each time, but same weekend for sure.

Looks sweet Marty! I think we are looking at a pretty short window of fall colors this year. Glad to see you were able to capture some of it.
