View Full Version : Ride: Lebanon Hills, Thurs 9/27 7pm - NIGHT RIDE
I did all my chores this weekend, so the wife has given me the go-ahead for a Thursday night ride this week.
It's been so long since the last time I was able to go, what are the details these days? Do we meet at Leb or at Murphy? What time? All I do know is that my lights are charging and I'm bringing a chair for after the ride this time.
I believe there is usually a lap starting without lights at 6:00 and the night ride starts at 7:00.
Al and I will be there.

Wow an Eric siting! Good to hear you get a hall pass Eric, looking forward to riding with you and a fellow Homer again! Craig doesn't show up anymore :cryin: ......although we have gained another one or two Homers this summer. :D
Craig doesn't show up anymore :cryin: ...
I have some inside info that says he may be joining us this week. I also have reason to believe that there may be a 29" homer making an appearance Thursday night as well. So we'll see.

The "homer" group sounds like a good group.......how do I get in on that??
I've ridden the 7pm lap without lights but should be there with lights charged, sore back and all.

Hey, stealing my leb group ride are we?
Should I change this into the regular 7pm night ride thread or do you want me to post my own?
Should I change this into the regular 7pm night ride thread...
Yeah that would be fine. I just didn't see a post started yet and was hoping to get the details.

Posting up for our usual Leb thursday rides. Its getting dark by the time we get into our first lap now, so the DAY/NIGHT thing is OVER!
Bring your lights and enjoy a few laps... post up if you can make it.
(I'm going to merge the other thread into this one)

I'll be there for a day lap as well...night lap depends on the generous loan of a light. Nita??? You still got my back?
Good news though, I think this year I'll be able to make the light purchase. So light owners can give me their 2 cents Thursday on what lights to get (somewhat reasonably priced of course).

Medium Here is the frame couch shot. Rides very nice. I put the Burner on EBay last night.

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it there by 5:30. I'll post up on Thursday afternoon if it looks like I can make it happen.

Very nice! I thought the standard couch shot needed to be red to be a true homer
Too bad I ride a large.:cryin:
Maybe we should rally the hommer jerseys on Thursday in honor of your new steed!
For no better raisin then I can, I might be there, and hopefully my new parts will show up in the mail by then also. ;)

Hi All,
I will be there for the ride Thursday night.
Giselle (from the OC) has Thursday night off and wants to ride with us. she doesn't have lights so if anyone is doing an early slow lap maybe she could tag along. not sure what time i'll be there, I'll post up tomorrow or thursday.
On a related note, I've got a new work schedule that's making it hard for me to get out of the office before 7. It sucks, but i'm working on it...
See everyone on thursday, and looking forward to BobFest!

7pm if conditions are ok. Its more of a night ride now. ( my initial post was about 7 into the thread as it had started before I could post up.)
Al and I won't be there unless we can get our son's Senior picture done ASAP. It has to be submitted Friday for the yearbook. My kids lately are making me  . Al has photo equipment but this should have been handled by a professional. I should just submit Bob's OC picture from the other night. That should teach him...
Anyway...Tiffany...Bob has your light.
I owe you another one Bob!

Great. I'll be there. Sorry for the confusion. I saw a bunch of times bantered around, and didn't know which one was real.
Tiff, I'll stop home at lunch, and throw something on the charger. I'll be there around 6:30~6:45, so that we can ride at 7.

Steve, several of us have batteries and chargers, but the chance of the connectors, wiring, voltages, etc being compatible to your light is pretty slim. For example, I have several homemade 7.2 volt NiMH packs with the connectors that you get for 9 cents at Ax-Man.
You might consider a quick lunch stop at Batteries Plus. They will take your old pack and replace the batteries at a reasonable cost. They probably also have compatible chargers.

Timmy uses it all the time.. I think he's just BSing us. Nobody could seriously miss a group ride for a TV show... only the series finale of MASH would be important enough and its been done already.
Timmy is going to be painting his toenails so he looks nice for Levis... he just didn't want to admit it. :p
