Riding Monticello Sunday The 23rd Of September At 5ish

I will be riding in Monticello at Camp Manitou (YMCA Camp) Sunday evening around 5:00 after I drop my kids off. I can't say exactly 5:00 but it should be close. One lap at a moderate pace. I'll be out just to enjoy myself and relax a little after a fairly stressful week. If anyone wants to join up post or PM me and I'll meet you at the lot. If you don't know how to get there call me or if I get time tonight I will post up directions. It's the perfect time to ride this trail as the leaves have turned pretty well up there and the trail should be in great shape.

This is definitely a fall trail so let's take advantage while we can!!!

Just an FYI to those thinking about riding at Camp Manitou (Monticello MN), it is in horrendous shape right now. Lots of overgrowth, trees down, some really big ones too, it almost at points seemed like some of them were put on the trail on purpose, maybe they were put there to direct the motorcycle race I'm not sure but it's pretty bad. :cryin:

Don't get me wrong I had fun riding it but I'm a pretty patient mountain biker and I don't mind getting all scratched up going through the bramble, but I would doubt many else would find this "fun". Of course it is still an incredibly beautiful place and the scenery was amazing and all my fond memories of that trail in it's prime came rushing back so it was still a great night of riding! :D
