I can only imagine the amount of work necessary to pull off a wonderful event like this. Our family looks forward to this weekend the entire year and we were very sad to leave.

We will definitely be back next year and I will be riding all three races for sure.

For the second time the Festiva made it to Maplelag!!! Gotta love having a tail wind on the way up! As always the Richards faimily put on an awesome weekend. I can echo Matt when he says this is the one to look forward to! Great wrap up of the summer :embarass: great time to hang out with fellow riders!

You are welcome. Thanks to everyone who came to support our event. Some post race thoughts were to possibly run the xc on Sat and the tt and stxc on Sun. Also, next year we will do time bonuses for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the tt and stxc to make the stage race a bit more interesting. Not that the racing wasn't exciting because it was some of the best in years. Another thought was to maybe do a marathon, using more ski trails and appeal to riders who don't like technical singletrack but its just thoughts.

Sorry to those that got stung by the bees. I have ridden that section of singletrack maybe a 1000 times over 17 years and have never been stung. If I would of know the morning of it was there, I would of "raided" it.
