I will be there. I am planning on getting there at 6pm to do a lap, then rest for a bit and head out on the night lap... At least that is the plan. Anyone else going to get there early?

Leaving Thursday after work for Wausau, WI for Gnomie-Festivas!

As much as I like to get a ride in on Thursday, I would rather have all day Friday out on 9 Mi for some good riding (that I'll remember)..

Any others coming up Friday afternoon/morning - maybe PM some info on expected arrival time or such - can maybe meet up for part of our ride as we swing back through the lot.

Ok, weird request but does anyone have a small piece of dry wall that I could have? And when I say small I mean small, maybe a few inches long and wide. I need it for a class that I am taking. I need the white stuff on the inside for an experiment. If you have a small piece that you are willing to bring along and give me, it would be appreciated. I will be the one in the red element and am planning on getting there at 6pm... Thanks a lot..

Was wondering when someone would ask.

I think there was a tentative idea of doing a bonfire somewhere, but if not perhaps OC one more time. I think many are getting into school etc. so it may be the last ride that has an after-after.

All I'll say about post ride is that the bugs have been horrible the past week or so! Maybe the OC is the way to go.

I was hoping to get back to my regularely scheduled Thursday program but my Father is in town tonight so I will be meeting him for dinner. I love seeing my Dad but I am bummed as I was really looking forward to the ride and seeing everyone!!! :cryin: I actually missed all you crazy foolish people! :p;):D

I also realized today that I will miss next weeks Thursday ride as I will be up securing camping for Tiffany's B-Day Weekend. Just in case you missed the post, next weekend (the 15th and 16th) we will be up on the North Shore biking and camping. It should be a great time so if anyone is up for it check the post and get a hold of me.........talk about the ultimate thread hi-jack of all time........sorry John.......:embarass:

Oh yes the post says Kettle Moraine, we've changed locations now so that is no longer correct.......hmmm maybe the forum fairy will fix that for me......

Just got back into town. I plan to be there at 7pm.

It's questionable about OC or bonfire for me, because I'm lacking sleep and conjugal visits.

I finished my ride just in time! When the thunder started to roll, the wind picked up and the rain started out lightly, I thought I was cooked, but the main rain held off till I got the bike into the truck. Great ride everyone! Hope you all had fun at the OC!

yet another fun ride, except the chipmunk that felt the wrath of my rear tire. Fury little guy came out of no where. Atleast it's smaller than the deer I almost hit last week.

Rodger, thank you for the sweet gloves! They fit like a...glove. :p

Did I ever say I loved night riding, the bugs were horrendous, I had a sudden flash of having a mechanical and going insane. I loved the lightening flashes and how humid it was, and finishing up just in time before the downpour.

I'm so glad I have a designated driver (Al)...because Jodi was out to get me last night (thanks...I owe you).

Another fun time on the trail. Sweeping went well, as we found lots of people riding the trail correctly. Oc was good also, altho I had to leave. Storm was done than, so it was a safe ride home. Sure glad I took a rest stop at OC instead of trying to drive home in the rain.

It was a good ride, although I was really hurting.

Can't wait to get back to the circle of love in the parking lot. These OC stops are seriously cutting into my sleep time. Hopefully, the park patrol will see that I'm home by a decent hour.

No worries Nick. I was there for him during his last moments of life... he's in a better place now... some chipmunks are just too good for this place....

Your right- we weren't that slow, especially when the storm moved up on us.

Oh, I forgot all about the chipmunk- Katy, I am surprised you didn't make us have a funeral or memorial service for him right on the trail!

I can't agree more...suffered a flat last night and thought I was going to pass out from blood loss while working on it. There is probably about a 50% chance I have west nile now.

I also now owe Eric(decoeric) some beers as he bravely elected to stay and help instead of ditching me.:)

Great ride! I rode the 6:00 at a burning pace so we could get back for the first 7:00 lap. (My battery packs are all shot so no light for now) Sorry to anyone that got dropped. We were on an unofficial lap before the real deal.

GAWD those skeeters are nasty. I'm pretty sure it was them that bent the big tree into my path and caused me to wreck! :incazzato:
Thanks Craig for stopping to see if I stirred up my brains. "how many fingers?" Yeah, you're #1 too.

We didn't wait around as much last night due to how bad the bugs were... normally we stop and collect up everyone at a few places but we just couldn't wait last night.

Hopefully we'll get a nice frost soon and kill em' all off...
