seems like some riders need to re-arrange the trail features on the inner loop in hartley in the pictures below.

the correct lione here is the yellow dashed line, not the line that is blocked off by the brush [the red arrow]

here the pink line is the easy way and the black line in the manly way. leave the logs marked w/ the red x's alone. the logs are there to keep the trail from getting 6' wide.

please leave these alone. the inner loop is ranked advanced so the obstacles will be harder. if you can't ride these, learn how. if your girlfriend/boyfriend can't ride them, teach them how. just don't be changing them. there is a reason the trail is built the way it is. if you have any questions/comments, feel free to email me.

This is a good visual Kurt. We have this same problem up at Hillside. I'm going to try to follow your example of this for up there. Keep up the good work. It's difficult to put up a large enough pile of logs or rocks to discourage someone from moving it. We've had some pretty huge piles of logs just vanish into thin air.

Fill them with venomous scorpions. It works at Leb.

I rode Hartley thursday before the rain...I have never seen Hartley so dry and so ridiculously fast. It was great...though i was sure glad to see the rain Thursday night

I was also pretty darned impressed with all of the new crossings. Hartley and Milaca rank up there for the best single speed tracks anywhere in my book.

Hell, I even try to add logs whenever possible.
