Yes, absolutely.. post up.. we'll see what we can do.
BTW: we're also planning Bob-Fest 07 (The return to Levis) this fall - I think last week of September. I remember last year when we had our big group camp and ride you mentioned we should let you know so you could join in on the fun....">
To all the Bob-Festers: I want to make an open invitation to your crew-I discussed with the Clark County Forestry department about waiving your trail fee for the weekend in exchange for a 1/2 day of trail work at Levis. You may not be interested at all in this idea, but we did a pseudo-EPIC weekend last year with a group and cranked out 1/2 mile of new trail (Sidewinder) in 4 hrs. It was just a thought here on my part, I only have a couple people here that dig dirt, so we're behind on making new trail and re-routing some exsisting ones. A bunch of enthuseastic riders could get a lot done in a short time and the work would be so appreciated by NASTI.
IF this is something you'd be interested in, I will plan out what we can tackle in about 4 hrs time and have tools and equipment ready. I'd just need to know when you'll be here.
Here are trails in need of work:
Upper Toad rd: very rocky and technical, needs de-berming and benching-possible ramps and re-route at start on ridgeline.
Upper Glen: re-route on entrance to Pine Run (easy work)
Dead Turkey: New entrance on west end.
Sidewinder: finish short bench at midpoint.
Thanks,
Steve
