There will be a trailwork session at Murphy-Hanrehan this Sunday morning at 10am. We will meet at the main trailhead (where you would park if you were riding the trail).
We'll supply the tools... but please wear long pants, good shoes or boots, and bring gloves, bug spray and water.
Don't forget the water!! A powerbar or similar snack might be a good idea too.
If you are under 18 yrs old, bring a parent or guardian along.
Thanks... we hope to see you there!!

Thanks again to Mike, Tom, Joseph, and Saundra for volunteering today! Pete and I really appreciate all of your hard work! So far the best thing about the Murphy project this year has been all the great people that I've met and worked with on this trail. It's people like you who make me want to come out and do trailwork. We've had a great crew all year and many new faces do trailwork. Thanks so far and hope to see you all during the fall trail sessions!

No problem Ryan anytime
Good times this morning. Rewarding work and good company...what more could you ask for...well i'lll tell you....best lap ever at Murphy (personal record) after trail work.
Knocked 7 plus minutes :jumpy: off my old time. Had to check the clock in my car to verify, thinking the computer was off on the bike. Must have been the two weeks off riding and fresh legs or getting a better idea of the trail after 4 laps there, because as I sat pondering if I felt like even taking the bike off the car, I sure did not think I had that kind of time in me today.
Trailed flowed awesome... including new burms and the rebuilt turn...but we may have built that turn too good. I came throught that turn so fast (because it is sooo nice) that I had to grab a big hand full of brakes just to make the second turn stick on the top. I only realized, then, that this was the area that we had worked on. If I could have remembered that this was the spot i could have trimmed some speed off and took the second in a more appropriate fashion. Don't know, maybe Mike had better luck then me
Thanks for the good times...I think I got most of the deep fried grease out of my sytem.

Pretty awesome after doing trail work! The trail did look fast today! I hope to ride tomorrow and take advantage of the good conditions. Yeah, I'd imagine we'll be fixing the second turn shortly. Should be an awesome section when complete.
