View Full Version : Anyone own an inFocus projector (M1 to VGA cord)

Well silly me I completely forgot that I never purchased the proper cord I need to hookup my laptop to my projector. I was planning on doing a slideshow at the 24 hours this weekend of photos taken throughout the race.

Anyone by chance happen to have one of these cords? It is not something that is very common and I'm gonna make a bunch of calls tomorrow to see if I can buy one locally but that is looking slim.

Amazon estimates they wouldn't ship it till Friday so next day delivery doesn't do me much good.

Try RadioShack. You'll be surprised. There's also a couple of big computer warehouses in town that sell only computer stuff. Try them second. Third I would try a larger computer repair center, there are also a few of those in town but I can't remember their names (like First Choice in Uptown, but they've always been so rude I'd never suggest going there). In a city the size of Mpls and SP there's no real reason to mail order anything aside from saving a buck or two.

Thanks everyone. I found a company in Fergus Falls that sells them (48,000+ and no negative feedback on ebay wow). Looks like we'll be viewing photos this weekend if all goes according to plan.

I have a projector you could use for the weekend. I do a lot pf presentations and would be happy to lend it if you can't get the cord in time.

I think one came with my Powerbook, I'll check tonight.

I'll bet you could get one at the mac store in a pinch.

I thought Shad was Bikerfox. Why else would he keep posting those pictures?...:p
