I'm having some rear derailleur issues at the moment, so it doesn't bother me much as I've been banging my head against a wall the past few days trying to figure out how to tune it, but I feel for the rest of you.

Not too big of a deal for me either as I have a few weeks until I can ride anyway.:banghead:

Tell ya what, you send some of that rain up here and I'll send some dry-cold air down there. It's turned damn near fall up here in the span of about 4-5 days. I'm not ready to hang it up yet!

OK, so this brings up a good question:

I haven't been out riding since Friday, and I'm starting to feel the itch--what's a guy to do when the trails aren't ridable?

Road ride, urban, hit the gym, :wank::wank: and more :wank:

I actually am enjoying the rain even if its been quite a few days in a row. I was really tired of seeing the trails dry up and turn to dust, and my poor pond was about to become my new Pugsley training grounds. Now things have greened up and I've enjoyed a few cool rainy days and feel recharged for fall riding. I could go all week with this rain before I'll start to panic. It can hold off for the 24 hours tho....

Trouble is we're probably not done with the 90 degrees and humid, so this cooler weather is just teasing me...

Yes, Ryan, I'm ready for fall now. ;)

Look what happens when I'm gone for a few weeks! Those of you (yeah, you know who you are!) were busy wishing away summer and didn't have anyone to bring you back to your senses.

This weather sucks. We should be out riding the trails, but instead we are sitting on the computer in the evening, posting for no reason at all, and counting rolls of fat. Now, it won't be long before we are arguing religion and politics. Oh, wait. That's already happening.

On the bright side, Fruita is only a little over 8 months away.

Maybe John can send you some better sites to surf. :D but instead we are sitting on the computer in the evening, and counting rolls of fat.

I hate the rain too. But I like the rain too. The trails, and the rest of the state needed it. I got my commute ride in today. Just got drenched the last 10 minutes, but I was drenched already. Still haven't run out of things to do... Need a few more rain days for that. And, it looks like the weekend should be good.

I know of a good one... :etard:

You people complain about dry all year round and now you biaitch up a storm when we get rain. Maybe I need to go back to Canada where they aren't so quick to complain.

Hey, it's been raining on me all week in Pennsylvania on my vacation. I managed to get in a "rental" ride on my favorite singletrack in the misting rain, damp, wet and cold (60 degrees). No complaints from me, just can't do anything too crazy since I'm nursing my injury still.

Man it was nice:)

Last summer in my town we had 3 solid months of rain, except for 5 partly cloudy days, and 1 sunny day...

I can only assume the suicide rate was very high..

Man we need the rain. I had a meeting two weeks ago in St. Cloud and I saw some really dry crops on the way up there. One of my friends that has land up by tower said they aren't even allowed to weld outside right now.

Yeah, normally I'd be going stir crazy with all the rain and clouds, but with my brown yard, my garden, dry trails going to heck, low lakes and rivers, crops going bad, and fire threats from this drought, I am actually pretty happy to just watch the rain fall!

It normally wouldn't bother me, but after being on the road for most of the last 4 weeks (in areas that got lots of rain), I was really looking forward to some trail riding.

Go to Spirit mountain! It was sweet last weeend, and yes I'm down with fall temps and dusty trails.

Bonus, if you haul your bike on a rack you get it washed for free.

The rain can go away now. Im going to have to ride the road just to get out on my bike. At least the sun is out for the moment, but I need dirt under my tires. One thing I don't get is why my apartment was still running the lawn sprinklers when it was raining. O well. Hope this weekend will provide with some good riding weather. I'll try to send the rain northward.

Oh heck yess it was awesome weather. Every day I'd tell my boss I was getting off at noon and then do stuff outdoors. June was a really nice month too.
