Heading up to Superior on the 7th - 8th Sep. for the Burritounion Tri event. Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels in the area?

Superior Chamber's site has lots of hotels. http://www.superiorchamber.org/visitor/index.asp
The Holiday Inn Express is the newest. You can also camp at Pattison State Park where the race is held.

I'd second that notion... stick with the Holiday Inn Express, plenty of food close and far enough from the bars that you shouldn't have to worry about anything... it is Superior after all. :D

Hey now, we may have more bars than churches... but as long as your out before 11 and well after 2, dam your good to go!

Do you really want to stay in Superior? It's a crap hole. Go over the bridge and stay somewhere nice. :D. For that matter why are even doing that race? Do Square Lake Half IM.

I always liked the Fitger's across the harbor in Duluth. Hawthorne suites in canal park is ok. Just stay away from the rooms in the core of the building, they were creepy as hell.

I'd say if you're around friday night on the 7th you can join the local crew for the Friday Night Ride. A little night riding, a couple of bar stops, and just a bunch of cool people. Bounce a question off the board here, or check out http://cycling.upnorthmn.net/viewtopic.php?t=722 for updates. We came rambling over the bridge last night into Suptown for some late night shenanigans.
