You know if the opposite had happened there would have been a public outcry to change the rules on all the trails around the lakes. It's just sick..

From my experience it seems that most people are under the impression that the bike paths are actually "rollerblade with your two dogs while listening to your ipod" paths.

That drives me CRAZY!!!
I live close to the Lakes so I spend a lot of time in the area and it's infuriating because there are fewer walkers on the walking path than the bike path. Many times i've had to literally stop my bike because I couldn't pass the three people walking side-by-side while two others were coming at me going the wrong way. As a biker i've never said anything but man, if I were riding my bike on or near the pedestrian path i'd be yelled at...
I wish the park police would do more to enforce the code because, frankly, it's not right to allow so many people to walk on the bike path.
It's the worst along Lake of the Isles from what i've experienced...

Another reason not to ride road bikes.:D Seriously...I would've been pissed at those walkers and would definately get revenge.:angry:
