I tried once before and just didnt like it but if anyone has an old pair of shoes or knows of a place to get shoes cheap. Please post up. I am looking for something with cleats that will work for ATAC style pedals.
Commments, suggestions, brands, something you have... etc ???? POST UP:cool:

Any SPD compatible shoe will work. The Time cleat is designed to fit the same hole pattern.

I started looking online and I kind fo figured that, I wish I would have thought of that before I sold my shoes when I got rid of mine. Thats what i rode for a yr or 2 before I decided platforms was what I liked I really didnt like the spd and didnt try anyhting else. But now I am still a big fan of platforms, but im gonna try clipless once more

Try Penn Cycle, they have some clearance stuff (http://penncycle.com/itemdetails.cfm?catalogId=39&sort=priceasc&id=10677) on their website.

Haha, Just finsihed making a pair of shoes for Katy. But its a bit easier for me because I work at an Orthotics and Prosthetics shop so we have all kinds of materials and tools for making shoe soles. I just took a piece of 1/8" plastic and cut it out to the shape of the insole, cut a hole straight through the sole at the line of the ball of your foot, used another peice of 3/8" plastic as a riser, then drilled slots all the way through for the bolts to go through to the female side of the clipless system. I countersunk the female bracket in the 1/8" piece of plastic then bolted on the cleat. Going to test them tonight at Leb, I can keep you posted on how they work out if you're interested. Or hopefully I'll just see you there!

You might look into making stylish SPD sandals. From what I gather there is an untapped market for such an item in the cities.
