2007 Raleigh XXIX for sale. Size Large. The bike has been ridden for a few months. There are some scratches in the paint, but overall the bike is in very good condition and in perfect working order.
The frame and fork are 100% 4130 butted Cro-Moly tubing that has beautiful hand-TIG welds. The seat post, handlebars and stem are from Easton. The wheels have cartridge bearing hubs, the rear is a cassette style and runs standard shimano 1 speed cogs. They are laced to WTB speed disc 29" rims. The tires are 29x2.3" WTB Exiwolfs which show very little wear. The brakes have been upgraded to hydraulic Avid Juicy carbons, which work much much better then the stock BB-5s that this bike came with. The cranks have been upgraded to Profile 3-peice cro-moly cranks. These cranks have made a huge difference with the way this bike rides, they are so much stiffer. The chainring can be changed from a 20t to a 46t for whatever gearing you want, this is not possible with the stock crankset. The current chainring is a Profile 27t Titanium ring. The Ti is more durable then the standard aluminum rings. This also allows for very very good clearance over logs and rocks. It's almost impossible to hit the chain on something. The bike is equipped with a 16t rear cog that works great with the 27t on most of the trails around here. The bottom bracket has cartridge bearings and is fitted in an eccentric shell to allow for easy chain tension. The saddle is a WTB laser V and the bike comes with platform pedals that are not in the picture. The headset has been upgrade to a FSA Orbit UF needle bearing set, this provides better shock load capability that is caused by the rigid fork.

Seems like a reasonable price? Pictures kind of suck on craigslist.
