Murphy Trailwork - Sunday 7/15 at 10am

There will be a trailwork session at Murphy-Hanrehan this Sunday morning at 10am. We will meet at the main trailhead (where you would park if you were riding the trail).

We'll supply the tools... but please wear long pants, good shoes or boots, and bring gloves, bug spray and water. A powerbar or similar snack might be a good idea too.

If you are under 18 yrs old, bring a parent or guardian along.

Ryan and I had talked about fixing some of the remaining trouble spots on the intermediate loop - there are still 2 or 3 spots that really need some work. If we have enough dirt bosses and volunteers, we could send a crew to continue work on the rock climb... I noticed there are still some rocks there waiting to be used.

Possibly. It would depend on whether there's a call for it. I personally prefer the earlier start, as it breaks up the day less.

Bump! I know I have spoken to many people who like weekend trail sessions because they can't attend weeknight sessions at other trails! Now is your chance to do weekend trail sessions! We'd love to see you out there!

Great job today everyone!

The volunteers finally way out numbered the Dirt Bosses (1 DB and 5 volunteers)!!!

We worked on fixing some loose rocks in the new rock climb after marker 61, and then re-worked a couple corners on the Intermediate "In" trail.
