Trail Recommendations for the Lutsen Area

Hello All,

My wife and I are going to be riding up in the Lutsen area later this month and are planning on doing one day at the mountains. Are there any other trails or good rides in the area that you could suggest? We are going to be staying in Lutsen, but are not afraid to drive a bit if we have to, to hit some descent trails. Thanks for your help.

well Can't say much for mtn biking trails, but there are a growing number of Paved bike trails along the lake. Kinda fun on a warmer day when the winds blow cool air off the lake.

I have saw everything from Cyclo-cross bikes to Big hits. With that being said you should have no problem riding the trails there both days. There is more than enough ground to not ride on the same trail all day.

Make a stop at Spirit on the way there or way out.

When will you be staying up there? I have plans to go riding up there over labor day weekend. I've been there once before, but riding was cut short due to a faceplant in a rock garden.

On your way up or way back you could time it to hit the Hartley trails in Duloot.
