Hey! I wanna thank the guys that put on the race yesterday. Well organized. I rode in the citizen's class race. Thought the trail was in nice shape. Nice course. It had a bit of a mean climb to the start. Nice flats to let you rest. And good technical turns in the trees to keep me on my toes. The weather did get a bit hot! But that was out of our hands. Anyone have pics to post? Thanks, Tom

Agree with Tom's comments... my first time at Mt. Kato and the trail was in great condition and the event was run very well... thanks to all that were there to support and race!

Also my 1st time at Mt. Kato. I really enjoyed the trails and race went off smoothly. My only comment in the area of constructive criticism is to find a way to string the riders out some before the 1st climb. A prologue on the flats at the bottom or something. There were lots of rain ruts lurking on the sides of the trail in the grass on the Kato climb and that make the climb pretty much single track and lead to quite a bottle neck. Overall great fun... I'll be back next year.
