What's up my friends and fellow bike riders? First I'd like to thank Pete (Crabtree) for posting that thread earlier with my story. Yeah man, what a bummer! The very few times i've lost my wallet in the last 30 years it was propmtly returned to me intact...thank God for people with integrity. Never, ever, did I think that I would someday end up the victim of identity theft. Especially while out on my favorite trail! The evil bastard that made off with my wallet racked up a pile of dough out of my checking account, my paycheck from last week, and several charges on various cards...don't know the grand total yet. Anyway all cards have been frozen, the authorities have been notified and I have an investigator reviewing of the surveillance tapes. Thankfully the gas station he/she visited had cameras. This person will be brought to justice.
A quick message to the theif (although I'm sure he'd/she'd never visit a great site like MORC that actually cares about things like the environment, fellow cyclists, honesty and integrity etc...)>>>>>
