Slow ride Monday ????

Anyone want to go on a slow ride Monday afternoon / evening ?

I can be there about 5pm.

Travis, Sean from trail work crew is going to be there about 6, to do some minor trimming. Maybe, if it rains, and done by then, he has some tools to stomp down some of the sandy areas. I am going to try to be there around 6 also.

Maybe we'll see ya. I am going to bring some clippers.

Some trail clean up sounds good. I really hope we get the rain we need it.

That doesn't look good for not so trail work tonite, but good for the sand on the trail.

It was sprinkling when I got home at 3:45. I checked radar again looks like no rain. So do we clean and/or ride ?

I didn't get time to post this yesterday. When I got off the bus at 4:15 at Lower Afton & 61, it was dry. During the ride home, near 494 the road was wet, and then in Newport i got rained on for about 5 minutes. Cottage Grove was wet.

Tom & Travis rode, Sean & I trimmed and moved some sand around. We walked a path around most of the park. It didn't rain on us at all, and we were there til about 8:30.

Good to see ya Travis & Tom. Met the berry pickers. They wondered what the smell was also. Bad! I never knew there were so many berries there. Wanted to take some of the stalks we were trimming home, instead of trimming, but hear that might not be legal.

It was raining when I left the rec lot and had stopped by the time I got to the lower lot. The trail to down town was wet all the way down.
