There will be a trailwork session at Murphy-Hanrehan this Sunday morning at 10am. We will meet at the main trailhead (where you would park if you were riding the trail).

We'll supply tools, but if you have a favorite tool bring it along. Please wear long pants, good shoes or boots, and bring gloves, bug spray and water. A powerbar or similar snack might be a good idea too.

If you are under 18 yrs old, bring a parent or guardian along.

Post here, or send me a PM if you plan on attending.

Thanks... we hope to see you there!!

We'll probably work until 1 or 2 in the afternoon... maybe longer if people are up for it.

Any chance of starting at 8am like last week?

I'll be there at 8am, Roger. My Saturday night partying schedule must be a lot lamer than Pete's.

Let's have a first wave start at 8am, second wave at 10am.

I'll be there, don't know when. Saturday night is pretty dull for me also. Life must be slowing down!

Let's have a first wave start at 8am, second wave at 10am.

Sounds good.

We'll be working on one these projects: (or both if we have a big turnout)
1. Continue working on the rock climb.
2. Continue fixing some of the corners/tight spots on the intermediate loop.

We hope to see you there!

I'd like to thank Tom, Roger, and the other Tom for showing up and helping out at Murphy today! Scott, Roger and Tom finished up the rock garden today and it looks great! Pete, Tom and I fixed some of the intermediate trail areas that were washing out. The section we worked on now has a better line and should be faster, more fun, and safer. Thanks again for the help guys!

Another thanks to everyone that showed up today!

We had a bigger group today... a total of 6 people! (although 3 of them were dirt bosses). Hopefully the turnout for trailwork will keep increasing - there isn't a shortage of projects!!

There will be three main sections of the optional rock climb between markers 61 and 62:
1. the initial section paved with flat rock (which needs some additional work),
2. followed by a section with rounder rocks (which hasn't been started yet),
3. then the section they worked on today with the large boulder sized rocks (which is complete/near complete).

Hope to see more people out there next Sunday! We're planning to start work on some of the dirt berms!! :)
