Hello Folks,
I am looking for some trail suggestions for an upcoming fishing/camping trip this September and wanted to get some dirt from local folks.
I am going to be at Whiteface Reservoir Sep 15-22 and want to know if there are any decent riding options here (or very near to this location).
I am camping with non-cyclists who are primarily going to be fishing/camping/drinking (not necessarily in that order) and would love to sneak away for a few hours here and there for some riding.
I have heard there are snowmobiling trails nearby but what are these like to ride?
I don't mind riding doubletrack if thats the case. Singletrack is preferable of course.
Singletrack options would have to be pretty close. It's probably going to be a hard sell to convince my buddies to pick up stakes so that I can ride some trail.
Any suggestions, comments, help would be much appreciated.
