View Full Version : Dogs allowed?

Hi -- Just wondering if dogs were allowed to run the trails? I couldn't find any info from looking at the info page, unless I missed it? Off-leash or on-leash?

I'm pretty sure they are. It is a multi use area for the most part. Not sure on leash rules for the park though. I've had my beast there a few times and you really have to check for ticks!

Dogs are allowed on leash.It wouldnt be a good idea to let them off leash because of all the blind corners.

Yes, there is a sign at the trail entrance stating that all dogs must be on leash. About a couple weeks ago I was chased and attacked by a yellow lab as I crossed the power lines. No Joke! I nearly lost my right leg. It was some old guy that lives in a nearby neighborhood. He was walking his dog off leash down the maintenance road, and he was out of sight of his dog. Thankfully my super-ninja skillz saved me.

Richie - did you pull out you Gallagher pocket tool - A slicer and a dicer and a chpper and and a hopper?? OR did you put a note on him that said
" please put me on a leash like as the park rules state" and release him

Oh yeah, and when I was there my beast was on a leash. If you've not met her, she would be long gone without one.

I finished the last 15 minutes of that lap and then went searching for the dog and owner for a while. Nowhere to be found though. My tool was not easily accessible, so he lived to see another day...
