Terrace Oaks Trail Work 6/12 6pm

I will be there at 5 to begin some trimming. I'll head back to the lot and gather folks and we'll head back in and cut back some more overgrowth. Simple evening of trimming :)

I won't be there for trail work, but I just wanted to say thank you for cleaning up the trails after last week's storms! (I rode Terrace last night). Also, there is a turtle that is burring it's eggs in the trail - on the hill just after you ride through that brief open prarie area. (does that make sense)? I moved her to the side of the trail, but I'm afraid she's going to end up eventually getting squished.

There are also a couple of eye pokers and low hangin branches on the double track out from the X exit. Nice work! Thanks

The turtle has been around for years. It usually keeps by the pond. I'll keep a look out for it. I'm running late so I'll be a bit after 515 if anyone is coming early.

Troy R and I trimmed up the left side of the trail and the overhanging stuff. We moved the turtle again from the same spot. Next week I might bring some paint to mark her, just to see if it is the same turtle each time or not.

In general the trail is in great shape.
