Murphy Trailwork - Sunday 6/10 at 10am

There will be a trailwork session at Murphy-Hanrehan this Sunday morning at 10am. We will meet at the main trailhead (where you would park if you were riding the trail).

We need to fix some spots on the intermediate loop.

We'll supply tools, but if you have a favorite tool bring it along. We'll be trimming the trail corridor and working on the trail tread so loppers, pulaskis, mattocks, or pruning saws are recommended. Please bring gloves, good shoes or boots, bug spray and water.

If you are under 18 yrs old, bring a parent or guardian along.

I haven't had a chance to get the Murphy trailwork email list up and running... so if you asked to be on the list, you'll need to check the forums for trailwork info (until I can get the list set-up).

You might want to remind people to wear long pants.
The various itch weeds are worse than most trails and we sometimes short cut through the woods.

Oh, and I should be able to make it.

Weather looks good for tomorrow - we'll try and quit before it gets too hot.

We'll stick around for 15 minutes or so before we head out.

And yes, long pants are a good idea.

Big thanks to everyone that came out for trailwork today!!

Ten miles is a lot of trail to maintain and tweak... and we got some important stuff done today.

I look forward to seeing how the adjustments ride.

Next week we'll be out there on Saturday (Sunday is Father's Day).
