I was impressed with the event at Steeplechase again this year.
The registration process went well, the race course was enjoyable, and the weather related course changes seemed well thought out and worked well. The multiple wave starts and course layout meant racers could race at their pace without passing issues coming into play very often. The food available was nice for non-racing and racing folks in our group.
"Great job" to the Rochester group for putting on another great event.

I agree. Steeple was an awesome course, (even though I had to do that dang prologe forward and backward) and what a great day it turned out to be. Thanks to all the people who made it possible!!

The addition of that winding descent and climb to break up the top section of technical singletrack was a great idea. It needed someplace to let people attack and pass in that half of the course.

I hated this course last year. Maybe it's the fact that I've ridden it a couple of times or the trail changes or both, but I'm a fan now. Nice work.

Only the second year of this event and the Rochester crew has got it dialed in.

Great course/trail design, registration, awards, music, food, parking, ect. Really couldn't ask for anything more. To all who helped put this together your efforts are really appreciated. Can't wait to race/ride steeplechase again.

I loved the big Snake hanging from the tree. I gave it a what up, every lap. Please tell me every one saw that, Or I may have to check myself in. :jumpy:

Great Race!! I loved the variety of trails. Thanks to all the organizers, trail workers and volunteers.
I'm just going to ride the trail 18 seconds faster next year and eek into that 3rd place.

Whew! I thought I was the only one who heard that snake say my name every lap! Good to know I'm not crazy. :cool:
