While it looked like people have been riding all the features, it didn't look like anyone had hit this (http://www.morcmtb.org/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=4081) yet. The pic is from before the leaves came out, so it looks more overgrown now.

It is between trail marker 71 and 72. The trail comes around a right hand turn and it's slightly downhill into it. The trail goes around to the left, but the log has been shaved flat on the top. I haven't had the guts yet - it is probably over a foot tall, maybe 18 inches?

Oh, I saw it, but didn't realize it was shaved on top... Next time.

Just to clarify... I was talking about the log on the right that is perpendicular to the trail, not the tree on the left (that's just a downed tree).

I just noticed this log tonight and have ridden this trail 6-7 times. I think this has some potential for a good jump with a little dirt thrown in front of it.

We've been riding it for several weeks. I think that almost everyone rode it last night. We'll turn that log into a pile of mulch by the end of summer.

log overs suck.

(j/k, sorta.)

Didn't realize it was a feature until Scott pointed it out Wed.

mara and I ride that log every time we go by it. mara has cleaned it a couple of times now......not the low rounded left side, she rides the higher part to the right. Pretty awesome to be able to get over that thing!!

I've never ridden over this log yet, but will have to next time. I do recall thinking though if someone clipped the turn to close they would nail their rear tire/wheel in this thing. Good reason why to pick your lines carefully.
