DMR (http://www.dmrbikes.com/?Section=products&pageType=category&category=22&categoryName=Tyres) makes these in both 24 X 2.35 and 26 X 2.35. I think I will have to give these a try.

They look almost like a big knobby tire, but in a smaller form factor - kind of between the SB8 and a regular knobby... is that the idea?

This is what they say about their tire:
Our new DMR Moto Digger is designed to get the power down in looser and softer trail conditions. The sharp edged, Motocross style tread blocks are profiled to dig deep and find grip where other tyres lose it. Staggered shoulder blocks that wrap round the tyre, give powerful high speed, low angle cornering. Dig?

Sure.. read the manual... ;)
I've only had them for a couple rides, so far, so good.

I'm going to boycot them until they make the tire in a 29er version. Just because 29er riders are faster and better looking, it's still no reason for discrimination.

I heard somewhere that people who rider 29ers are so talented and their bikes are so much better that they don't need to use tires (or as our friends across the pond say, "tyres") That's probably why they don't make them. it would be like selling snow to Eskimos.
