I recognize those glasses and that bike, we chatted at theo last Monday. I was the newb with the gray ibex/internet only bike, we were talking about how our frames could have come from the same shop for all we know. Great night, on my last lap after we chatted I skewered a piece of deadfall in my front wheel, ripped out four spokes, and went OTB. Good fun. The bike is still down, waiting on a rim. Sorry for the threadjack!

How'd that line work out though, i was tempted, it looked like a chainring eater for the split second that i used to make that decision. talked to Shad afterwards, he said it worked well for lots of people.

No chainring eater, it's actually pretty easy. Actually gained a place during the first lap with that line.

I have some pictures of the entire event including the kids comp.

I was the guy with the gray hooded sweatshirt and shorts taking pictures.

I am working on getting them processed. I hope to have them done and posted before this weekend. I took a lot of pictures (1200+ photos) and it's taking me awhile to get through them all.

I'll put a link in this thread when I have them done and ready for viewing.

Bummer! Get that bike back up on its wheels :) . Yeah, I'd guess your frame is a well-crafted knock-off of my M4. That just means you spent less money on it but still a great frame.

This is the first year of me owning a heart rate monitor. Spring Cup was the best workout yet, hands down. I hit an all-time high BPM :shocked:

Gotta love getting the competitive juices flowing.

Greetings all,

This is John Pedersen, of John Pedersen Photography. I was the official MNSCS series photographer in 2005, and am returning for the 2007 season. I'm looking forward to another great summer of photographing the best sport on two wheels - mountain biking. My only regret is that I won't be able to ride in some of the races, since I'll be too busy photographing them.

As some of you may know, we were out at the Spring Cup this past weekend - maybe you were able to stop by the tent and check out some photos after your race. My intentions this season were to minimize a bit of the post-production work involved in posting hundred of photos after each race by moving to on-site viewing only. However, after receiving lots of emails from people who didn't have the time to check out the photos after the race, I've decided to post them for you all to check out and order.

I'll keep these photos up for a week, so if you think you'd like to order, please do so before next Thursday the 31st of May.

Thanks so much to all who have emailed looking for photos - I'm happy you're excited to see them! Also, keep in mind that I'll be donating at least 10% of all the orders from this race to MORC, so not only will you get a cool photo - you'll be helping out this great organization.
