I am heading to Breezy Point in a couple of weeks with a bunch of friends and a few of use would rather ride than dump $50 or more to get mad playing golf.

I have been reading and checking out a few trails but anyone have a suggestion on which would be the best trail to hit within 40 minutes of the area.

TIA

There is Pillsbury State Forest, I have heard that it's good. I'm not too sure where the good trails are, but that is another place to think about going.

there is some single track but its not marked and even I haven't found all of it. The trail that is marked is double track that a lot of horse riders use

There is also supposed to be some trails at Ski Gull, or at least a few people were building out there last year, they are supposed to be behind the ski hill.

This is kind of a shameless plug, but I'm going to be working at the Nisswa Trailblazers for the summer, so if stop in and talk if you want some information on trails, we do have some maps and local knowledge of the trails.

thanks for the replies. Is there one trail I should hit for sure? I know I will be riding at least one day and would like to hit a good one. I also have 3 or 4 others riding with me. Should be a good time.

I read about Pillsbury being mostly horse trail and not that much fun.

ya pillsbury isnt one i would say to ride unless you have a bunch of time to explore. I would say you should go ride French Rapids (the singletrack out by the air port) but that wont take you all day (about 1-2 hours give or take)
so you would still have time to ride some of the ski trails or snow mobile trails
