Spring Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day and Steeplechase Open House

Take advantage of free instruction. Experienced RASC Mountain bikers will be available to help youth and novice riders improve their skills

Come enjoy a fun filled day of mountain bike riding on the beautiful trails at Steeplechase Ski Area. This will be a special day for kids to ride and have fun with their friends and family.
Take advantage of free instruction. Experienced RASC Mountain bikers will be available to help youth and novice riders improve their skills when riding single-track trails. A skill area, containing many features found on trails, will be set up near the chalet and will be used for riding clinics. Warm up for Rochester's Minnesota State Championship Race that will take place on June 3 at Steeplechase. In additional to instructional rides, there will be fun adult/youth events.
Contact your mountain biking neighbors, co-workers, relatives, and friends who have not ridden the Steeplechase trails. Come out and enjoy the beautiful Zumbro Valley scenery.

10:00AM - 5:00PM Ride the trails (Anyone)
10:00AM - 4:00PM Youth and Novice Skill's Clinic & Instructional Rides
1:00PM - 3:00PM Adult/child fun events
No trail fees - Pack a lunch and spend the day!
Helmets and signed waivers required

I'll be in the area, but unable to partake in the festivites unfortunately. I'll be dorking around on the gravel roads of Southern MN in the Almonzo 100. Golly I'm a moron.

Just a reminder that tomorrow will be the spring open house out at steeplechase. No trail fees all day long. Goody bags provided by numerous sponsors including shimano for all the kids that come out and give mountain biking a try. Group rides all day long. Also we have around 1k of new trail that was just completed last week that takes in awesome views including a cave and the river. If your a racer come on out for a preview of the june 3rd mnscs race courses. Hopefully we will see a large group out there throughout the day.
