OUtside Magazine Mention

Anyone seen the May issue of Outside? There is a feature called BestJobs and in it is a picture of Nat Lopes riding at Steeplechase. No other mention of the area, but does say that he is part of the Trail Crew.

Anytime that Minnesota and Mountain Bike are together in an article that is positive is a good thing in my book.

Yeah Nat and Rachael are currently(they may be back now) in Croatia helping to develop a comprehensive bike plan for one of the states/provinces!

I read that article too, and noticed it was near where I live but I have never rode there. That does appear to be a "great job". The article didn't tell us how to score a job like that.

Does anyone know who pay Nat and his wife to do that? They got a free Subaru so I imagine there is some sponsership from Subaru. The land owners must also pay I would guess.

You should get acquainted with IMBA (http://www.imba.com) and what they do. Nat and Rachel worked for them as part a nation-wide program. Think of IMBA as the national level and MORC as the local level of all things MTB. Both worth while organizations to support.
