I look forward to seeing pictures of the finished bike tonight.

It'll be fun to see you riding it in the rain and sleet tomorrow.

Is that an XL? I didn't think they put the taco on both the top and bottom on the XL - only the sasquatch.

Come on - we need to see some close up pics. Expecially of the couch:D

OK so here is one picture. I can't seem to upload any others and I've been trying for awhile so I give!!!

It sure is purdy though isn't it........:D and very very blue!!! and heavy!!!

For 2007 they went to a single taco except for the sasquatch and this is a 2006 XL so it has the double. The 2007's weren't going to be available in time for the Fruita/Moab trip. I'm very happy with it so far sitting in my living room and I think it looks good on the couch which is great because I broke a lamp getting it there!!!

that is great but you are riding a FS. you dont need that extra weight for any M:crazy2:RC trails.

but is that a couple of empty bottles of Fat Tire on your counter? Just checking.

There was some Fat Tire and some Springboard downed during the build process last night. I'm not sure there is a better way to spend a rainy Friday Night than a new bike build, good beer, and a good buddy to sit and heckle you as you go about your business!!! :D

The FS is just so Shad and JJ can keep up.......:D ;) :)

I am gonna get a serious beat down for that comment I bet.....

Oh and yes the singlespeed will now be in semi-retirement until after Fruita and Moab. :)

LOL! I am out in your neck of the woods all the time. Your neck of the woods pays the majority of the bills!!! ;)

If you would like to ride tomorrow I will ride. Lord knows I need all the saddle time I can get before Fruita/Moab. Let me know.

Thanks for the nice color comments!

Thanks Troy! Nope no dings yet. Got close to 70 miles on it this weekend but all paved trail or road miles, no good opportunities to ding it yet! I did get to go down a fairly steep set of stairs......... :eyeroll:

Thanks Andy. Yours looks very cool too, can't wait to see it! :)

It can't wait to see you either Shad. ;) Oh yeah and I have a saddle or two for you. :)

This weekend was all about rain soaked rides that's for sure! Hopefully Easter will be nicer. I don't put much stock in the forecasted weather predictions but looking at it now my wish may not come true. But I guess we'll give it time. I'm not sure weather people even know when to change their underwear much less predict seven days into the future.

Yesterdays ride was awesome. Was able to make some fresh tracks after climbing a fence and hooking my undercarrige, the scary part is that Dan was the closet to me in case of a rescue :cryin: . Thank goodness I was able to free myself. I didn't poach any dirt trail just a rather wide bike path with lots of concrete. Dan's bike looks great and other than his usually chain issues, looks like a sweet ride.

I should buy stock in SRAM or maybe just buy a Shimano chain???

I am still laughing about you "stalled" at the top of that fence. I was so close to pushing you over! We did get to ride the biggest bike trail I've ever seen!!! I still am trying to figure out what that was?

Great ride and thanks for the nice comments on the bike JJ! :)
