Remember, I like to jump and beat up my bike.....but I don't really want a downhill crank.
I currently have Shimano LX cranks with the Octilink splines. They hold up okay, but I am planning on getting a new set since these are getting fairly worn out. Looking for used ones in good shape. Hopefully ISIS or some sort of spline drive. 175mm is prefered.
Just take the cranks off your bighit! Truvativ makes a solid crank/BB combo.

Now there is a good idea..... I don't want a heavy downhill crank on my XC ride and I don't want to part out my BigHit.

What condtion are they in? Also, what length are they? Does this include BB?

I have a Truvative Stylo crank / bottom bracket that I would be willing to sell. It is the latest version with the GXP external bearing bottom bracket. PM me if you are interested.

My current cranks are 4 years old and have taken a lot of abuse. I had them taken apart and regreased last last summer because they were creaking. They are back to creaking again and there are some other issues too.
On idea I came up with was to put on a BMX crank, all I need to do is get a Euro BB and most BMX cranks have a Euro option these days. I am sure a BMX crank will last me longer, but might add a little weight. If anyone has a decent set of Chromoly 3-Pc BMX cranks, I might consider that as well.

Shad, if you don't get a decent offer, I think I still have an old bontrager (truvativ isis) crank in my junk box. It is a triple, but you don't have to use the outer rings. Pretty sure it was a 175.
I swapped it out during one of my many broken frame incidents, so it hasn't had an easy life. If I remember correctly, it is still usable, but had a creaking problem and the bearings were getting worn. You will also need your own chainring, and possibly chainring bolts.
Anyway, if you think you might want it, I'll check the box. If it still exists, you can have it. No charge, no warranty.
