View Full Version : WTB: MTB Fork and Wheels

Heya --

I'm building up two bikes, one for my brother and one for his girlfriend, of beater quality as they live in apartments so they will likely leave the bikes out. I am looking for one wheelset and two forks (think SR Suntour... or nicer but pretty used).

Also: Derailleurs (Deore or lower), Crank (1)

I don't have much to trade but I know I have this really old pink road bike that I fished out of the dumpster (semi-horz drops), an old blue Schwinn Suburban (vintage!...ha ha I did replace the chain and the tubes), and maybe...an On One Pompino :cryin: and Trek 4300 frame :cryin::cryin:.

I have a bunch of that kind of stuff in my garage. I'll try to figure out what exactly, but I may not get around to it before Friday or Saturday. Wife is out of town and I'm a single father this week. I definitely have two different sets of wheels that need to go.

I've got a ritchey/shimano stx wheelset in very good shape. Also, stx derailleurs, and I think the crankset as well. Basically, I parted out a bike a while back, and still have all of the parts from it.

I have a Bontrager Race wheelset that I was looking to part with, also a GT rigid fork. The fork would be nice and cheap.

I forgot, I have a Surly 1x1 fork with a disc tab too. And a Planet-X superlight fork, but that one is worth a bit more coin.
