The FCR 4 has been discontinued, but it still a great bike. I bought it brand new in the Spring of 2006. I rode it for about 300 miles, and then garaged it the rest of the year. I thought I was going to do marathons and other things and what I realized was that I should have bought a mountain bike instead.
24" Frame
Brakes: Tektro Tonera
Gears: Shimano 8-Speed
Sprockets: SRAM 4.0 Aluminum Alloy
Shifter: SRAM SX4
Sorry but I don't know all the technical details besides what the title of the post says. I just got into bikes last year, so I am sort of a novice. I do have over $100 in extras on the bike, including:
Water Bottle Holder
Doberman Lock & Holder
Front Trek "Disco Tech" Light - Solid & Blinking (3 LED Bulbs)
Rear Trek Northern 3 Light - Solid & Blinking (2 LED Bulbs)
Computer Cateye System - Spedometer, Odometer, etc...
When I bought this bike, I paid $399.99 (Bike) + $94.34 (Extras) to equal $494.33.
The price is $299. That is 60% off the price I paid. Try finding that price in any bike store around here. I can negotiate on the price. E-mail me so when can find a time where you can come and ride it and see if it's the right bike for you!
