Hi everybody, I didn't know where to put this but I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Kevin and I am 24 years old, I am married with a baby on the way. I got *back* into Mountain Biking last year on a borrowed bike and fell in love all over again. I feel like I am 10 years old everytime I get on the bike.
I am in the process of selling my road bike and buying another mountain bike for the impending year. Anyways, I just wanted to say hello, and that once I get my bike I hope to hit every trail in Minnesota to try them out. I am more than willing to meet up with anyone at the trails and ride together. I am a bit of a novice but riding with other peeps is always fun.
I am very excited to have found this site, it looks amazing! There is so much information, pictures, and help that I am really glad I joined it. So I just pray that the trails dry up as soon as possible so that I can start riding! :)
Kevin
P.S. How do I add an avatar? I tried to no avail.

Welcome aboard Kevin, now you just have to join MORC (get a membership) and your in the club:)
Anyway, I live near Lebanon so anytime you want to ride PM me. I ride for fun so my pace should be doable for you.
Anyway, welcome aboard have fun searching the site, check out the trails section to see all of the available trails in the metro area. We ave a ton. Also, if you want to meet people involved with MORC show up for trail work, it's fun and you get to meet a lot of people. See ya out there dude.

You can upload the avatars from your computer, or pick a stock one. They are limited in size for non MORC members, so perhaps you are trying to add one that is too big?
Anyway, welcome to the area! You will be really pleased with the trails and with all the vairous activities going on within MORC.
Only ~6 months until group night rides start up again, so be sure you have lights before fall! ;)

Thanks you guys! I am really interested in showing up for trail work, I think it would really cement the love I have for this sport. Is there a forum for trail building that I can stay up to date on the next time it's going on?
Dan - I'll totally hit you up when I plan to go out there....counting the days till the trails dry!

Welcome kevin! I moved here a year ago and really believe that MORC is great organization (MORC does a great job taking care of the trails).
Again, welcome and hope to see you on the trails!

Welcome to the forums!
Welcome Kevin! :)
Keep your eye on the Group Rides forum once the trails open up. Our group rides tend to be fairly large (great way to meet people) and the pace varies quite a bit from front to back so the comfort level is high no matter how fast you ride.

Welcome to MORC, Kevin. I look forward to riding with you.
You have lots of opportunities for trail work. Leb work will probably start in another month or so. We do trail work on Tuesday nights, and would love to have you working with us. Plus, there is also Salem, Battle Creek, Terrace Oaks and Murphy Hanerhan, all on the south side of town, and in need of help.

How convenient, Tuesday is the night that my wife works! I will keep looking for updates on when and where the trail work will be. I can already tell this is going to be an amazing summer!
Hey Kevin! Welcome to the boards, lots of great people here to ride with and maybe you could get your wife a bike so she could join in too :) .
Welcome back to a great sport Kevin! Hope to meet ya out on the trails! And like others have said, keep your eye out for the group rides.
