Hey everyone. I am looking for a set of Dic for my bike. Does anyone know where I can get a decent set? I also have a pair of 256 MB Oakley Thumps, worth about $300.00, and are in perfect condition only used six times. I am willing to trade up with. Please let me know, Thanks.
Good luck in 2007

If your looking for Dic for your bike, maybe try hanging out around Loring park, and ask if anyone has any extra Dic. Good Luck!

Do you know if you want hydraulic or mechanical?

Don't mind some of these unhelpful people. Not everyone on these forums are smart asses. Okay.....so most people are, but you will get help eventually....:)
I am also moving this thread to Gear since that is where it really belongs.

LOL, LMFAO
Oh man, almost wet myself.
But seriously if you're doing a disk conversion Avid BB7s are everywhere and are fairly reasonable. If you go mechanical you should be able to keep your current levers. Are you looking for an XC set-up or more downhillish?

BB7's are cheap and effective way to go. I love mine.

I agree. A killer brake set at a good price. Best mechanical disc brake out there. In my opinion at least
Don't forget you need disc compatible hubs/wheels. But you probably already thought of that.

I tenth the Avid BB7's! I have them on my C-dale and love them. Not as complicated as hydraulics and work just as well and a snap to adjust on the fly.
Avid BB7's are the way to go. Price... about $90.00
