Hey winter biking folks! It's been great meeting more folks who bike in winter!
I'm still running my discount for winter bicylists until the end of winter. Take advantage of the warmer climate, and get a one hour therapeutic massage for $35 when you come by bike.
Office located in Uptown, just south of Calhoun Square. Massage Therapist with 6 years of experience, and a first timer for winter biking this winter.

...this forum description clearly says "Sell your new or used mountain bike related items."

I'd argue that a massage is very much mountain bike related. Nobody would complain if there was an ad for a special on bike tuneups. Why is there complaints about soliciting the service of "tuning up" the engines that power those bikes??

I would like to second Miller's comments. I love hearing about service specials that are offered to bikers. I think you're stressing out about this post a little too much, maybe it's time to get a nice relaxing massage:D
I think Scott did it in a soft enough way that it wasn't too blatent of spam. It would be nice to see a morc memebership logo below his name though.

Do you have bike friendly parking? Can we ride the nice bikes and be sure they're safe or are we better taking the beater that we don't care about.

Hmm, maybe it is because he only has TWO POSTS and they are BOTH SPAM. It would be different if he were in some way, a contributing member. Maybe there should be an "Off-topic" forum for this type of spam. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees it as spam.
I am not "stressing" over this, it is simply something that I noticed and don't appreciate. You don't see me offering discounted violin lessons to cyclists, do you? Playing violin will cause rapid development of the neural network which can help your reaction time while biking or possibly increase your intelligence...

I have to say a massage therapist offer is mountain bike related, as I regularly use a massage therapist after some of my hard rides due to if I did not, I may not be able to ride again.
In relation to being a MORC member, I would agree it would be great to see Scott as a member of MORC, but I do know that he is very pro car-free and if he gets more people riding due to his offer, let it stand I say.

Are there any 40+, German, female masseuses on staff with a faint moustache and the hands of a oil rig worker?
Happy ending?

I agree. There are 2 things I want right after a ride:
1. Massage
2. :beer_yum:
The post is applicable. However...I have a 19th century French violin that I'm getting restored and I plan to take lessons...

What about the application of Harrier fluid as massage oil? ;)
Ok, maybe I was a little hasty in my replies. I just don't like seeing advertisements posted for personal benefit, especially from new members. ...and before anybody says a massage also benefits the person that rides to the appointment, I see that too.
Maybe Scott is still in 'lurking' mode and will join us on future rides and topics. My apologies.
