Not sure WHY i chose that, but I do remember how it got started... It was right after I took a head first digger on a 30' canyon jump... Seemed pretty damn funny at the time, but tired of looking at it now!
"Dude...that was off the sickgnar scale..." WTF? Musta hit a little harder than we first thought.

"gnargnar" I actually caught myself saying that today. Hell, I think I even used it on the phone while I was getting the good news from Buck! Geez...

To change a stupid username you have to talk (or bribe) the stupid administrator ;)

c'mon... you think that you picked a stupid one?! ;)

The rationale behind it: Listening to Bob Marley "Soul Almighty" at moment. Marley fans out there know the lyrics
Hey happy people, this here is something new
I know you're gonna like it
So let me tell you what we're gonna do
Souls almighty [uh]
Don't you know we got the rhythm
Souls almighty [oh]
We are willing
Funky, Funky Chicken [ooh]
And the Mashed Potato
Do the Alligator
Let's do it together
Souls almighty
Do you dig me ya'll
Souls almighty, my soul is raw

I picked my username out back in high school (about ten years ago). I guess it would be just to much work to change my online identity now. I guess the benefit is that I usually don't run into problems trying to get accounts since not many people use it.

Then again I can't own berrywise.com cause some dude making cupcakes or something owns it.

I 've always wondered where that came from, it's probably (ok, not probably) just my own geeky past making me think this, but I always assumed it was the name of your halfling D&D character.

Ha! Yeah it's pretty funny some of us are unhappy with our "codenames" when we have such jacked up REAL names!
Personally, I LOVE my last name. I love sitting in a meeting or church or something and they have to call my name. You can SEE the mstruggling with how to pronounce it... even mouthing it or sounding it out and yet it still comes out in just the right way to make the whole crowd giggle! Even at my wedding we were announced as "Mr and Mrs F*CKS!" And so the honeymoon began...

No way, don't change it. I think having a stupid username is what forums are all about. I mean really...look at mine. On a scale of 0 to stupid, I've got the meter pegged! KEEP IT!

Ha,

It is awesome having a messed up last name. I used to hate mine, but think of how it helps build character and a sense of humor. Its a good thing to pass on to all of the little Fukses.

Now that I'm grown up, I'm glad I don't have one of the super common last names. That would get confusing with my super common first name. Imagine winning a raffle for a door prize, as five Matt Johnsons come to the announcer's stand.

BTW..

Ditto to what Richzilla said.

Cody, your username is still the same. Have you talked to John Lundell about changing it?

I am sure I could change it for you, but since I have never changed one, not sure how.

Send him or I an email on what username you want and I will make sure him or I makes the change.

That is why I use the pseudonym, 'Oliver Klosauf' when I register at the Spring Cup. Just to make Erik say it.:)

Funny, my guess is that the typical race has 50% of riders sign up with a fake name. I think we should start another thread where people reveal their fake racing name.

Yeah, I should change that one to Uno Rigido. I used Uno Rigido as my real name when I signed up on the board, but then Lundell put the hammer down and I was stuck with stoneage as my user name. People probably think that my real name is a pseudonym too.:p

I know you used it as your name at some event I was helping run. Was it the the Leb TT? Anyway, I though it was pretty darn cool.

Leb TT, 24 HoH, and a lot of MTB races. I have only raced my geared bike twice in the last eight years, both in CO at Nationals.

Hey all! Sorry about the absence! Stupid Midcomm took over my former provider Mediacom and they lost my entire account! I was offline for 5 days and I'll never be the same!!!!

Let's see... My last name is sounds like "books" not "Ducks" but it's easier for OTHER people if I just say it like "fooks". I've gotten so many snarls and eyerolls from it!
Ummm... Oh, people trying to make me mad? No way dood! It takes a LOT to set me off, and my last name isn't one of them! Actually, my MOM always wanted me to fire up a condom comany and slap my last name on the Wrapper! Woulda been sweet! Prob still could, but who's got the time or money!? I could sponsor myself, tho... Anyone else sponsored by a condom corp? That would be KEWL!
And NOPE, I haven't contacted anyone about my changing my name. Seems like it's OK. I was actually kinda worried it just seemed a bit "corse." I also feel like the name sounds cocky, and I don't want it to! I'm def a smart ass, tho...
