Join us at the "Training Table" at Champs, New Brighton on Silver Lake Road & I 694 at 9:00pm.
:etard: Rumor has it that we'll do our usual ride starting at 7:00pm.... (P.M. me for details)

Unfortunately, I can't make the ride but i WILL be at the training table to buy Don his well earned Bday drink of choice!!:) Happy 70th Don! You are such an inspiration! I hope I will be kicking butt on the trail by that age!

I plan to be there, depending on my bike light working I may make the ride. Maybe I will just swing by for a B-Day drink. Either way I see you all.
I believ I have ridden with don once or twice......a few years ago so hopefully that will entitle me to show up for a bday drink. :cool:

I plan on doing this ride again, FINALLY. I have been dying to hit the trails. Plus I wouldn't forgive myself for missing Dons big bash. DMAC you could just ride in front of me, My light is bright enough. May be Mike and Don can get the largest turnout yet for the ride. I am sorry for not attending for such a long while but am set to go. Even my wheelie skills have suffered. Mike may need to teach me all over again.;)

I'm tentatively planning to be at the ride and the after... especially the after.
I won't be posting up a Leb ride on this date regardless... its Don Y. day on Thursday... and we don't cancel Thursday night rides for anything other than bad trail conditions - this is the first "important date" cancellation. ;)
Lights are over rated.
I will show for this, after going rogue for the last few.

I am also planning to be there. New battery pack, moved the rack onto the new car, new seatpost collar so I can complete a ride without eating my knees, and pleanty of nice warm duds....
Plus the night before our Micro Department at work is going out the Vine Park and Brewing 45 gallons of beer.... :)

Nicely put John and a great way to honor him. It's always a pleasure talking and riding with Don and he has given a lot of time and energy helping to improve and develop trails. Hopefully I can swindle somebody to cover part of my shift and make the ride and party, otherwise I will be present for the after ride gathering.

Don't let Don fool ya. He only took it easy on me my first ride with him. From then on he had me huffing away trying to catch up. I watched Mike spin spin spin trying to catch up to the old geezer.:jumpy:

It was a nice ride. Nice to see lots of people there and showing Don how well liked he is. There was more than I expected at the after party. Sorry I didn't get introduced to many of you. Wish I could have. Also Props to the Chik (so sorry I forgot your name) who did the gap jump. It was sweet to see a woman catch some air. On a side note sorry for shining you all in the bar with my light I was poked and prodded to do that. Hope you had a great B-Day Don.
Next week I will even ride,....

Don, hope you had a great birthday, it was so much fun to ride with you all and see everybody after the ride.

Sorry I had to bail at the beginning guys... turns out my rim decided to give out. I was even willing to ride without a rear brake, but it was so out of true, it just about hit the frame on either side.
For those of you that don't know, the Erik's in Shoreview is gone. Thought I might be able to fly up there, get the rim fixed and still get back to the ride, but it just wasn't meant to be....
Don, I had a beer in your honor... Happy b-day.

Does anyone know if Dmac found his keys? Poor guy had a bad night. Breaking his shoe and losing his keys to boot. If he didn't I could go back and look tomorrow. I am sure he doesn't remember all the trails and I am sure someone with knowledge of them could search a bit better.
