I'm going to be riding (most likely Leb) on Sat morning before the CPR/First Aid class. Anyone else up for joining?
I am commited to riding Mammoth with some friends. Maybe you can change over?

I'll probably ride somewhere (Leb, BC or Salem) early on Saturday morning. (doing the first aid class in afternoon) I need to be cleaned up, fed, and at REI by noon, so it will be an early start for me. 9am seems like it will leave too tight of a schedule, so I'll probably start earlier.

Bob, you have a good point.... after riding I'm gonna want to grab something to eat and change clothes before heading over to REI for the CPR/First Aid class @ noon...... So, I'm bumping up the start time to 8 am (at least thats what time I'm going to go ride) Hann-Yu, let me know if you can make the earlier ride time. Again, anyone else who wants to ride @ Leb on Sat morning feel free to come join...The more the merrier :)

i may be up for joining, but maybe just a quick lap because I have to be at REI early to let our instructor into the room and help him set up.

It's looking iffy for weather/trail conditions. I'm up for a ride, but doubt that the trail will be rideable. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait and see.
It was surprisingly bad in spots at Leb last night, and we didn't belong out there. We stopped our ride after one lap, and were a bit embarrassed to be out there at all. The problem is that there is soft ground on top of the frozen stuff, so there is nowhere for the moisture to go until it either evaporates or freezes. We don't want to damage the trail, and don't want to introduce ruts that will freeze in for the winter.
So, I'm going to follow the Leb open/closed decision. If a miracle happens and it opens on Saturday, I'll be there at 8am. If someone knows of another trail that is dry, please post up. My guess is that Salem and Mammoth will both be too wet to ride. I don't know about Battle Creek or the River Bottoms. Maybe we could ride the ski trails on the south side of the MN river. I'm open for ideas.

Probably won't take off until 11:00, we'll wait. I have your cell number, or call if you can't make it.

Yikes, I should have read this last post, before I answered Lisa! We didn't get any rain here, but the thaw issue may not be good. I'll check around.

Reports coming back that Battle Creek is rideable. Anyone up for BC at 8am Saturday?
I'm not that familiar with the trail, so someone that knows it will be lots of help.
