Just wanted to update some of the information on the Levis Mound trail page-I'm the trail builder there.
Length: 30+ miles (21 miles of singletrack, 15 miles XC ski trail)
Lap: ? min (depends, outside loop takes about 1 1/2 hrs)
Singlespeed Gear: ? (yes, quite a few guys ride SS here)
Toilet: Yes (mens and womens, indoor) Water: ? (yes, in bathrooms and shelter building)

Campsites are now located at the Fisher Ave trailhead also. Self register on site. Russell Co park is 3 miles south and Jackson Co. Campground is about 6 miles south off hwy K.

This info is wrong:"From I-94 North, Black River Falls , exit on highway 12/27, travel north 10 miles to Merrillian, turn right on highway 95, go east seven miles. Levis-Mound trailhead will be on the left."
It should be reversed-from the SOUTH, take the BRF exit, and from the NORTH take the hwy 95 exit in Hixton.

The local shop and bike builder is no longer in business (Langreck custom Bikes)

Maybe some people could chime in with ss gears. I've ridden it on 32x18, and 32x20. 32x20 was better for me, but then I ride slow.

(Actual was 32x20, 32x22 with 29" tyres)

My brother and I rode our Monocog 29er's with 32x20 gearing and had a blast. I thought it was just right, low enough to handle the hills and allow us to ride all day.
