Mammoth Friday 12/8

A few of us are riding Mammoth on Friday at 2:30 till...? we are meeting at the Lyman Cul-de-Sac. It should be warmer on Friday, hopefully!

Planning on bringing the lights? I figured I would just in case. It gets pretty dark in those woods. Thoughts?

It is starting to get dark around 4/4:30 and the woods are dark, but not as bad as when the leaves were still on the trees. It all depends on how long you plan to ride.

I'd like to try and make it. But if I'm not there by 2:30 don't wait for me. Maybe I'll find y'all on the trail. Is the Lyman cul-de-sac off of Hwy 41?

Yep, Lyman is the 2nd stoplight south of Hwy 5 off of 41. Head west and you are there.

I will charge up the lights just in case.

So I guess it helps to pay attention to the whole post. I saw Mammoth and didn't register the rest where it said the cul de sac entrance.
I met Dan at the school and we stood around just a bit wondering if we missed a "Ride cancelled" post then decided we were burning daylight. We figured out most of it and know where we missed it now too. We met the real ride and joined for one climb to catch what we missed then hit the downhill and the washing machine.

It was fun riding with you Dan.
