Either Lebanon or Mammoth (I will need someone with Mammoth navigation experience to go) I do not know mammoth very well.
Post up, I'm thinking around noonish.

Dan,
A group of us thet did the Turkey Day ride are planning on doing Mammoth Friday at 10:00 AM. We will be meeting at the Pioneer Trail (trailhead). If you can bump up your start time we would love to have you join us, all are welcome.

i was maybe going to either ride leb or theo tomorrow morning, but keep in mind I ride early.... probably 8 or 9 am, weather permitting. Dan (or anyone), you are more than welcome to join but I understand most people dont like riding that early.

Would comfort/cross tires be sufficient there? I have 2 sets of rims and tires for my bike. Off road tires and cross tires depending what I plan on doing more of is what I usually use. Since there would be more road riding I would use the cross tires. From what I gather they would do fine. I would hate to ride there and back on slow tires if I really didn't need them. Thanks for any advice.

If any of you are interested a friend and I are going on a slow easy ride at Theo tomorrow. Maybe a couple of laps and a few laughs. PM me if interested. We were thinking meeting between ten and eleven o'clock.
Danny, all the cool kids ( okay, me -- shush ) will be riding Mammoth tomorrow at ten. You should go -- Mammoth is an amazing trail without too much climbing.

I'm up for Mammoth. 10am by the covered picnic shed? Someone want to remind me of how to get there once again? Post up. Otherwise I'll be at the shed at 10ish.

OK, I may or may not be there at 10ish. If I'm not there at 10am I'm doing Lebanon cause my wife couldn't be without me all afternoon. :D

Dan,
If you decide on Mammoth the directions are north on Hwy 41 (from 169) into Chaska, go up the hill past all the new Hwy construction to Pioneer Trail (Super Target is on your right). At Pioneer Trail go left and pass the ball fields on your right side, turn right on McKnight Road and another quick right into the trailhead parking lot.
From Hwy 5 in Chanhassen you would go west on 5 until you hit Hwy 41 then go left (south) until you hit Pioneer Trail and take a right, directions are the same as above from here.
Like Mara said, all the cool kids will be HERE! :etard:

Dan, nice to finally meet you. Too bad about the front tire. I didn't have that much luck either, busted my chain (the one on the bike) in the XX. I carried my bike out on the hiking trail as well.

Brianna,
If you passed the tracks on 41 about 10:15 - 10:30AM that would have been the MORC group. You know how we must stop there every time to try our luck on the ties....

Yeah, it was nice to meet you Gabe. For those that guessed it...
I TACOed my front tire on the big log drop on the XX. Hit some soft sand and she nosed dived and tacoed. Little banged up but more pissed over the tire and the walk out. Erik's is rebuilding a new one as we speak. Going with FR rims this time.
Shoulda went to Mammoth I guess ;)

New extreme sport at Mammoth! mara catching!
This was an awesome ride. I enjoyed the company, the riding, and the weather.
Thanks to Cousin J for planning this and riding. It's always a special treat to have the Duluthians come for a visit. Kurt was MIA. Maybe next time.
Danny, you missed a beauty of a ride. Sorry about your wheel and even more sorry you missed some fabulous opportunities to giggle at me. . . more on that later.
Thanks Nita and the Mammoth infield, Al, Ryan, and Shad. Y'all are All Stars!

Kurt, you should really take a break from the whole injuring yourself thing and get some riding in. . .
I was slightly less scaredy cat than usual on Friday, which of course made me think of you ;) Get better.
