MORC Member Expirations

I went through the MORC member database and compared it to the forum "MORC Member" group membership and found a few expired memberships.

68 actually. :shocked:

If you lost your MORC icon and wonder why, it is because you were listed as having an expired membership in the database.

We would love to have you renew!

its been sometime since I renewed but I am doing so this week for sure. as its only fitting because im going to be training on the 16th to become a patroller.

The icon / MORC membership group thing is not automated, but Brandon monitors it pretty close and usually updates them quickly. I sometimes help out as well. You can email staff@morcmtb.org once you sign up to be sure the process is sped up.

He'll have to answer the card question - I believe they have been improving that process and are now back on track with those.

Membership cards are printed once a month. This makes it more cost effective for us and the printer.

If you send your renewal info in this week, it will be part of the November batch which will be sent to the printer the last week in November.

Create a post once a month. Something like this:

November Membership Expirations

The following peoples' MORC memberships are expiring this month:
John Doe
Jane Doe
and so on...


Or is it not feasible with the current system?

Your card is part of the October batch. I sent the list to the printer about 2 weeks ago and they should be in my hands soon.

Keep an eye out in your mail box.

Yup. There are a number of restrictions that non-MORC members have online. No signature, less PMs, smaller avatars, access to the MORC areas are missing etc. ... there is a pretty big list of mini-benefits like this.

Hey all im a meber again I just renewed...I sent a reminder to staff.. Hey john if you got some of those socks still I will take a pair if its possible.
however I hope that whoever recieves the memberships sees that my billing adress and shipping are different as we moved recently and ahve not yet changed our info. I out it in the notes on the paypal checkout. see you thurs
