Recent Photos in the Gallery

I have changed some code to remove photos from the Members Gallery so they do not show up in the "Recent Photos" view.

Too many boring pictures of bike parts etc.

You can still view the Members galleries as needed. They will also still show up in the random images sidebar area.

They do not show up on the MORC home page in the random photo area, however...

why not just make another gallery under "other" called "items for sale"?

Then people can upload photos for items to that spot rather than to their own gallery, which currently is the only reasonable place besides off-site. Then you can just turn that gallery off to everything so it never shows up unless you link to it or go look at it.

You could then also take the liberty of flushing old images on a regular basis, and not have to go look around in all kinds of other places for them, or rely on the poster to remove them after the sale.


Or just enforce off-site hosting for forsale images.

I'm kinda hoping to steer people toward the classifieds instead... I'm just not sure its as popular as the way most do it by using a thread.

If we don't go the classifieds route, a for-sale category that flushes itself automatically might be nice. Good idea.
