I accidentally posted in the MTB forum but it was meant for here.
May have to set up some training wheel races on the ice this year. Chug a beer after every lap and see who can pull off a 6-12 lap race on training wheels. Possiblly have a "stud of studs" race. Just for the peeps with studs. Could be held at any of the 10,000 ponds in Mn. Sounds funny but I bet it would be a blast. Hockey better watchout could be the NEW winter sport.
Classes could consist of:
Straight rubber wheels
Training wheels on straight rubber
Stud of Studs
I am sure there is already some sort of races setup for ice racing here but just an idea.

If you search the forums you should be able to find a multitude of ice racing threads from this year and past. I believe this years race dates are already in the works. The races I've attended have all had pretty good turn outs. Though I've yet to see training wheel races so you might have to see abotu working that into the days events :D

Don't forget about the snowball's chance in hell figure 8 and the Icy dash for cold hard cash (yes, it's a frozen chunk of cash) in early february on Cedar Lake (near Theodore Wirth trails).

Whut up slacker. It's about time you showed up here. Last time I saw you, you were on your bike leaving the Dome, that was like 3 or 4 years ago.

I believe Gastof's was the last we crossed paths. But yeah, been a while.
So old people take a while to catch up with the cool kids... big deal!
