So will the gophers sweep St. Cloud? I think it will be a split with us winning tonight at home and Scsu winning on there home ice on Sat. I think it will be a good night of hockey. Plus tomorrow, after the gopher game you can switch over and watch the Wild vs the Kings.

If they play Kellen both nights they would have a much better chance of a sweep IMO.
Should be good games for sure:banana:

I agree, but Lucia will be spliting the duties. It will be a hard fight tonight, good night for sitting and watching the game. Now get those tires made up for this winter.

Just as long as they don't play Winona State they should be good.

It'll be interesting, this will be the best team they've played since Maine in the opener.
I think we have the edge on big ice, we pass to well and are so fast. However we seem to be less than impressive on small ice so far IMO, it seems they can't adjust?
I predict a split as well.

Fortunate for them WSU doesn't field a Hockey team ;) . At least one of the U of MN sports programs is respectable, I'm really starting to get into the college hockey scene, it's a good time.

College hockey is the best kept secret in all of sports.
uscho.com has some good reads to get you thru a friday.

I thought you or John were making those for me ;)
I should put a TV down in my bike room/shop so I could wrench, drink and watch hockey all at the same time!!! Life would be complete.:D

That is why I have satellite in my garage, so I can watch and get work done at the same time. Plus the fridge always has beer in it and venision jerky for the munchies.

Well it was tie town this past weekend with Scsu. I'll take that instead of the loss. Now this weekend we have the Border Battle. With the way the Badgers have been playing we should take a sweep of the weekend. Now if the Goph's can come out fast and use our big guys like they should be used we can put the hurt on them.

Sorry, not to hijack, but my Son (6) really wants to see a sporting event like football, soccor, or hockey in person, but I cannot afford the pro prices and I remember getting Gopher tickets fairly inexpensively, so I was wondering if there were any season ticket holders who might want to part with 2 tickets to any home game in exchange for some money, beer, etc? Opposing team is not important, as this is about bonding with my Son.
Thanks,
Devin Quince

I might have 2 tix to a gophers game. Face value with fees etc. are around 35 each. I don't have any available until next year now tho.

The Timberwolves are having a hard time moving tix this year. If they keep playing like they are you should be able to find some upper tier seats for <$10.00
