I would like to make an offer to people who have never been a member of MORC. There is currently a limited-time opportunity to purchase the great-looking MORC cycling jersey (see link: http://www.morcmtb.org/morcpages/merch.htm ). My understanding is that after the current group order, this jersey may never again be available.
In order to have more people sporting these fine jerseys on the trails, while at the same time encouraging some non-members to give MORC membership a try, I am offering to personally purchase one-year MORC memberships for the next two non-members who order a MORC jersey.
This offer is available to anyone who has never previously been a MORC member, and it only applies to new jersey orders. Sorry, but orders placed prior to this post are not eligible. This is not an official MORC promotion; it is just an offer I am personally making in order to support MORC.
Our website administrator, gopherhockey (John Lundell) has volunteered to verify eligible orders. Therefore, anyone who is interested in taking me up on this offer should PM gopherhockey when they have placed their jersey order, and let him know that you would like claim one of the free memberships. He will then let me know that an eligible order has been placed, and I will send MORC one year's membership dues on behalf of the purchaser.
I sincerely hope that two people will take me up on this offer, and that as a result of this little promotion, I will be able to support MORC financially to the tune of another $50, while helping to bring two new jersey-wearing members into MORC!!
